Patient Testimonials: Life-Changing Experiences in Italy
I struggled with hair loss for years and it affected my confidence deeply. Coming to Italy for the transplant was the best decision I’ve ever made. Dr. Larosa and the team were exceptional. The results? Beyond anything I imagined.

I was skeptical at first, but the professionalism and warmth I received changed everything. The procedure was smooth, recovery was fast, and now — I look and feel like a new man. Grazie, Dr. Larosa!

Losing hair at a young age was tough. This journey gave me back more than just hair — it gave me confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of youth I thought I had lost. Highly recommended experience in Italy.

Our Blog and FAQ
How long does the operation last?
The surgery can last from 4 to 8 hours depending on the patient.
what is the procedure for undergoing a hair transplant?
In order to undergo hair transplantation surgery, it will be necessary to undergo blood tests and an electrocardiogram. These examinations will be viewed by the medical staff, and only after such a viewing will it be possible to perform the operation.
What happens after the surgery?
After the surgery is finished, the patient will eat at the clinic and undergo a further medical examination, where the entire post-operative course will be explained
And provided with a wash kit and post-night pillow.
When can one return to work?
Clearly it depends on the type of work. If the patient works in close contact with dust and paint or in environments where there is a risk of infection, he or she will have to wait for the scabs to completely heal and fall off, which on average occurs on the tenth day if he or she carries out all the post-operative therapies and rules correctly.
Resumption of daily activities occurs after a few days
I have my doubts about the post-operative treatment
Don’t worry, Matia has thought of that too. Matia offers the possibility of being constantly monitored both by telephone and in person, giving the patient the opportunity to have free trichological examinations at our premises in Seregno
Is hair transplantation painful?
A hair transplant is an operation performed under local anaesthesia, so the patient will only feel slight discomfort during the anaesthetic phase.
In the days after the operation there may be slight discomfort in the areas that have been treated, but within a few days the patient will be able to resume daily activities.
When does the hair regrow?
As far as the donor area is concerned, follicular units that have not been taken will start to grow back regularly.
The transplanted hair will initially undergo a phase of falling out called shock loss and then grow back around the third month. By the sixth month we can already have a good result, but the final result will be seen after a year.
A different matter is the vertex, where results will be seen more slowly.
At what age should the transplant be performed?
A person suffering from androgenetic alopecia who decides to undergo an autograft operation must first undergo a medical examination to establish the state of his baldness. Once it has been ascertained that the process has stabilised and all the blood tests have been carried out, he/she may decide to undergo an autograft.
